Purpose
Use Rubric Tool to list criteria for an assignment, evaluate your work, and make plans to revise your work to meet the criteria.
Tips
» Sometimes teachers use a rubric to grade projects. You can make your own rubric by listing the criteria your teacher will use to grade your project.
» If the teacher is giving points for your project, decide how important each criterion will be and divide up the total points. Maybe your teacher will already set these points for you.
» Use the criteria to review your project. It is a good idea to rate your own project and ask a buddy or parent to rate your project and give you feedback.
» Use the ratings and feedback to plan ways to improve your project before you present your project or turn it in for grading.
